Founded in 1940, Penn Line Service is a solid middle-market contractor with diverse operations in energy and infrastructure. Headquartered in Southwestern Pennsylvania, the company has a commercial footprint that covers 12 states and extends from the Mid- and South-Atlantic regions to the Great Lakes. A network of regional offices in Virginia, West Virginia, North Central Pennsylvania and Ohio supports operations.
Penn Line was looking toward a rebranding and identity change; an instantly recognizable logo was wanted and stationery that would set the company apart in the public contracting sector. To accomplish this, EMG decided on a color scheme of red and black, and incorporated the ‘P’ in a Pennsylvania keystone inspired icon. We then implemented this identity across all their stationery and letterhead. The new identity was a success; 15 years later Penn Line’s brand still sets itself apart from others in the region.
